Juhi Chawla paid a befitting tribute to weavers on the runway as a show stopper for designer Shruti Sancheti.
The rich and vibrant assorting of colours like gold, crimson, fuchsia, green, indigo blue and purple created a riot on the ramp. To give a Maharashtrian flavour to her collection, Shruti added amazing Paithani embroidery along with aari work and resham.
Juhi walked the ramp in an elegant maroon floor length Anarkali dress with green hemline, green dupatta and traditional 'nath' (nose piece) as well as neck piece. Juhi brought the Maharashtrian flavour on the ramp as a showstopper.
Nargis Fakhri acquired a desi appearance as she walked the ramp for designer Ritu Kumar. The actress looked ravishing in a white floor-length anarkali with a thick green and gold border hemline and heavy embroidery on the neck and sleeves. A beautiful 'maang tika' and neck piece added to her elegance on the ramp.
Actor Shriya Saran walked the ramp for designer Shravan Kumar. Shreya looked beautiful in a pink and white lehenga. She accessorized her looks with a neckpiece, mangtika.
The dashing Aditya Roy Kapoor walked the rampo for Barkha and Sonzal, at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. The designers presented a unique men’s wear line titled ‘Beautiful Mind’ inspired by the intricacies of the human mind, the cycle of life from birth to death at the Tata Nano Talent Box.
Also walking the ramp was santoor maestro, Rahul Sharma who wore a stunning concert worthy kurta.
