Lakme Fashion Week 2014 - Highlights




Sexy Malaika Arora Khan in a post-box red lacy embroidered gown with a layered luxurious tulle flounce.For that celebrity look that will add to the social status of a woman, Sonaakshi Raaj recommended her ultra-glam collection, “Rebel with a Cause” as the best choice.



J’aime La Vie” – I Love Life” was the title of Pallavi Singhee’s collection from her label “Verb” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. 


Putting an emphasis on colour and drapes, Megha Garg presented an ethereal feminine collection called “The Warrior Soul” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014.


The show was a grand amalgamation of fashion and art when Himalayan presented the “Himalayan Couture Collection” by Shantanu and Nikhil and artwork by top artist Brinda Miller at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014.

Picking a strong colour, Priyadarshini Rao presented a stylish vibrant collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. “An Ode to Indigo” was a simple title for her line of garments, which played creatively with the many hues, shades and tones of indigo to display an entire collection.


Designer Neha Agarwal stunned all with her debut collection titled ‘Mille Fleurs’ inspired by petite point embroidery, which was a favourite leisure time activity of Madame de Maintenon, the second wife of King Louis XIV of France, at Jabong Stage during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014.


Sonam and Paras Modi under their label ‘SVA’ showcased an exquisite collection titled ‘The Maestro’ at Jabong Stage during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014.The showstopper Gauhar Khan winner of Bigg Boss 7 graced the catwalk in a gorgeous green gown, flaunting heavy gold embroidery on the blouse, paired with cigarette pants under sheer fabric for a trendy-chic vibe.
