Participating in a cleanliness campaign ‘Beautiful City’ by Oppo mobile, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra appealed the youngsters to keep Mumbai city clean.
“I am a cleanliness freak. My house, my makeup van everything has to smell good and has to look good and clean. I live in this city, it is my home and where I work. Obviously, I feel the most important thing is keeping this city clean. I am so proud that I am associated with this campaign.”
Asked to give any special message to the youngsters, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress said, “I want to say all, especially the youth that you guys are the one who can make the change. We can convince our elders easily so you have to convince the elders and all about the cleanliness. I think we are the one who should take this responsibility upon us.”
Sharing an incident, where she became an angry Punjabi girl, Parineeti, 27 said, “I remember I was driving on the highway. There was a car going in front of me with 6 or 7 members of a family. They threw out a food wrapper out of the window. It made me so angry that I rushed my car to stop and rebuke them. I don’t think that the person even going to forget that incident.”
“These are the things we really need to do.. to make people realize that it is important to keep the city clean.” She added.
At the professional front, the actress has completed shooting Yash Raj Film's romantic drama Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Ayushmann Khurana directed by debutant Akshay Roy. She has been cast as the titular character, Bindu (an aspiring singer), and will be making her singing debut in the film.
Besides, she has also signed Homi Adajania's Takadum opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, which is slated to start shooting in October.
